Women and MenIn addition to small groups, classes and fellowship opportunities which are open to all, certain ministries at St. Stephen's are designed especially for participation by women, and others for men. We invite you to join in as you wish, and encourage you to bring guests.
Women's Ministries
The Women of St. Stephen's
Every woman who belongs to St. Stephen's is considered a member of The Women of St. Stephen's. (In many Episcopal churches, this group would be known as the Episcopal Church Women or ECW.) The Women of St. Stephen's are involved and responsible for a number of different ministries at this church, including the May Fair House, the monthly Woman's Forum, the twice-yearly ingathering of the United Thank Offering, Circle One, and certain outreach projects. Many of their activities, while designed and led by women, are also open to men, including cooking teams and the monthly Woman's Forum.

Wednesday Mothers' Bible Study
Each Wednesday morning during the academic year, a Bible study for mothers is offered on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. Mothers with preschool age children work together to provide child care. This is a come-when-you-can Bible study (but do check in with the group's leadership about child care if you will be bringing your child/ren).

Men's Breakfast
Each month during the academic year, a group of men hosts a breakfast on the second Thursday of the month, 7:30-8:30 a.m. Guest speakers are leaders in business, government, education and other fields. The cost is $6 per person, and guests are welcome. You may pay online when you make your reservation, or pay at the door. Advance reservations are recommended. Read more about the breakfast and upcoming speakers here, or go to our calendar of events.
