Taste & See: God is good
Taste & See will help children look at food differently, through the eyes of faith! As they participate in worship and activities and hear stories of manna in the wilderness, a woman who shares her last bit of food, or Jesus offering himself as bread and wine, kids will learn about gratitude, generosity, and "spiritual food"—and how food is a constant reminder of God’s active presence in our midst.
Taste & See is a natural extension of our food and wellness ministries at St. Stephen's, which include the Farmers Market, the fruit and food pantry ministries, classes and groups. Also, the approach for VBS this year will be adapted from the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd model which was also used during the very successful Advent Mini-Camp we held last December.
