Backpack snacks

Central Virginia Foodbank's Backpack Program feeds at-risk children over holidays and weekends when they do not have access to school breakfasts and lunches. St. Stephen's is participating in this program by delivering packs of non-perishable food items to 38 children at Fairfield School in the east end every weekend. Packs include items that the children can open and eat for themselves such as cereal, nabs, ravioli, etc. St. Stephen's needs volunteers to help deliver the packs to Fairfield School by Friday morning of each week (packs are prepared for pick up at the Central Virginia Foodbank by Thursday morning of each week).
