February 19-20, 2010
Friday, 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Saturday, 8:30 a.m.- noon, followed by lunch

“Mending the Broken Heart”
The heart is vulnerable to become bruised, constricted, or hardened by the changes and chances of life: disappointments, disruptions, disease, and death. We will explore the spiritual angioplasty of forgiveness, redemption, and encouragement in the light of Jesus, who has come to save us and salve us.

Brother Curtis will also speak at the Rector's Forum on February 21, 10:10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. No registration is required.

“Hoping Against Hope”
Hope is an anchor amidst the storms of life, a spiritual gift that begins with God, God’s hope in us. Hope draws from a deeper well than optimism, a gloss on the surface of life. We will discuss how hope draws on the reservoir of your past, your miracle memory. Extending that memory into the future is called “hope.”
