May Fair House

Hours of operation | Phone | Getting there

The May Fair House is a gift shop run primarily by volunteers and overseen by a volunteer board. The shop has a wonderful selection of unusual gifts at great prices, and is famous for its jams, entrees and other delicious foods--all prepared by volunteers in the May Fair House kitchen. While shop volunteers and most of the cook teams are women, we do have some men who pitch in to cook delicious foods using tried-and-true recipes.

Proceeds are used for outreach projects selected by a grants committee of the May Fair House.

Numerous volunteers keep expenses low to maximize the amount of money that can be used for outreach.

There are four ways to support the vital ministry of May Fair House:

+ Volunteer to work in the shop one shift per month (or more, if you can); call Marie Moyer, 784-5926 or send her an email. (If you can help in the shop during occasional Sunday Open Houses, please contact Rebecca Wickham via email .)

+ Volunteer to help prepare the foods and canned items sold in the shop; you do not need to be a gourmet cook! For information, call Marti Thomas, 784-3450.

+ Help spread the word about May Fair House--tell your friends, neighbors and colleagues.

+ Shop!
