There's a place for you here.
The Farmers Market @ St. Stephen's is open every Saturday, rain or shine.
We are excited to announce that we will now be open on Saturdays YEAR ROUND.
Here's the schedule:
The market will continue outdoors through November; please note the hours, which are 9 a.m. until noon.
The market comes indoors beginning in December, continuing on Saturdays, 9 a.m.-noon, through the end of March. The indoor market will be held in the Large Fellowship Hall.
In April 2014, we'll move outdoors and back to the 8 a.m.-noon hours.
The Farmers Market at St. Stephen's seeks to connect our choices about the foods we buy and eat to our call to be stewards of God's creation, as we build community and support local farmers.
In keeping with our commitment to environmental stewardship, St. Stephen's Church hosts a Farmers Market on Saturdays year-round.
The Market's goals include:

We are thrilled about the fifth season of our outdoor Farmers Market. We have more vendors than ever--40 at last count--including our first USDA Certified Organic producer. While our emphasis continues to be on local farmers and producers, we are allowing vendors to sell some items provided by other producers, as long as the origins of these products are clearly and fully disclosed. Our goals are quality and transparency. One of the things we value most about our market is your ability to speak directly with the farmer or producer of your food, and learn all you can about how it was grown.
During Season Five, the Market is sponsoring festivals celebrating specific cultures, offering live music, activities for children, cooking demonstrations and much more. To stay up-to-date on what's coming up each week, sign up for our weekly email newsletter below, and/or visit our Facebook page (or both!). If you have any questions about the market, please don't hesitate to contact our market manager, Kate Ruby.
Remember that we offer ample free parking, and that children, bicycles and strollers are welcome. We hope to see you at the market soon!
