Food Ministry | Year-round
St. Stephen’s provides assistance in a number of ways to those in our community who struggle to find enough food to feed themselves and their families. The simplest – and most urgent – way for you to participate is to bring food to church every Sunday: nonperishable staples for the Food Pantry, fresh fruit for our Fruit Ministry (apples, bananas or oranges), produce from your garden to be shared with those who would otherwise do without.  There are also opportunities for those who would like to assist with organization and distribution.

Abundant Gifts Catalog
Consider giving a gift that will not only demonstrate your love and affection for a friend or family member, but will also benefit someone who does not enjoy the material blessings we do. Copies of the catalog are available on our Web site (saintstephensrichmond.net/outreach) and at the outreach tablet in the Parish House.

Other local outreach opportunities
Year-round, flexible volunteer opportunities exist with Fairfield Court Elementary School, Peter Paul Development Center and Anna Julia Cooper Episcopal School and our other outreach partners in the East End and beyond.

Please contact Deb Lawrence in the parish office for more information about any of these programs.
