St. Stephen's Episcopal Church
Sunday, March 29, 2015
There's a place for you here.
St. Stephen's Church is a congregation of more than 4,500 people representing a variety of experiences and backgrounds, liturgical styles and theological viewpoints. Ours is the largest parish church in the Diocese of Virginia -- the largest and one of the oldest dioceses in the Episcopal Church -- and one of the largest dozen Episcopal churches in the United States.
Our size means that we can offer a great deal, not only to our members, but to the community and beyond. But it can be easy to feel lost in a such a large parish, so we provide a variety of ways for you to become engaged in parish life:
We invite you to explore the pages of our Web site to learn more about these opportunities, and we hope that you will feel how much we are eager to meet you, welcome you, and have you take part in our life.
On behalf of the rector, the Rev. Gary Jones, the vestry, staff and people of St. Stephen's, welcome.
