National Outreach

In collaboration with other churches in our diocese, St. Stephen's is involved in relief work among the individuals and churches in the Gulf Coast region devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Several trips to the area have taken place, the most recent in October 2007, and more are planned, the next one leaving January 27.

Two teams will visit the Gulf Coast: one will go to New Orleans (until February 2); the other to Mississippi's Camp Coast Care (until January 31). Space is still available on the Mississippi team.

Additional trips to the Gulf Coast are planned for April 27-May 3 and November 9-15.

We also plan a youth/family trip to Mission on the Bay, at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, for March 9-15, 2008. This is the week of the independent schools’ Spring Break. For additional information, contact Deb or Lynn.
