Welcome Gatherings / Inquirer's Class
St.
Stephen's welcomes all who come through our doors. Our hope is that you will more
fully experience the presence of God in your life as you worship with us and continue
your spiritual journey at St. Stephen's. You are invited to participate fully
in the life of this community-worship, study, join a small
group, participate in a variety of opportunities to serve others. There are
visitor cards in the pews on which you can indicate your desire to join-just place
it in the offering plate or hand it to one of our clergy or usher.
St.
Stephen's Welcome Gatherings
If you are new to St. Stephen's or to The
Episcopal Church we are delighted that you have chosen to continue your spiritual
journey with us and hope that you have found a spiritual home here. Periodically
the vestry and staff host Welcome Gatherings to introduce visitors and new members to our parish, programs,
vestry and staff. More importantly it gives us a chance to know you better in
an informal setting, and to welcome you personally. Our next such gathering is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. For more information call or email Janet Allen (288-2867, ext. 305).
What does it mean to be an Episcopalian?
Adults are prepared for confirmation or reception in the Episcopal Church during an Inquirer's Class. This class is also for anyone interested in learning a little more about the Episcopal Church, including long-time Episcopalians who might like to attend as a refresher. The course is usually offered once in the Fall and again in the Spring. For more information call or email Janet Allen (288-2867, ext. 305).
